Are you a female fashion executive afraid to take your foot off the gas?

I was.

I remember so clearly my working-mom friends telling me that when I went back to work I’d feel like I sucked at work and feel like I sucked at home. #notinspiring

I loved being a mommy. But my challenging job that had me traveling internationally, regularly was WHO I WAS.

But damn, my friends were right.

The fashion industry is demanding and fast paced (other industries are, too, I can just speak with experience from this one). Motherhood is a gift, but not easy. I desperately wanted someone to help me organize my thoughts and to help me prioritize what was important. I wanted clarity and focus.

I wanted a coach. I asked for one and I was laughed at. So then I was falling apart & I was humiliated.

And then I did a significant job pivot.
