The Beginning

18 months ago I woke up in a cold sweat. I was in an abusive, toxic relationship... with my boss. The Leadership operated under an unspoken, but very clear mantra of, “you will never be enough”. It spoke to something so primal as to elicit a visceral response from those of us work-a-holic, please at all costs, perfectionist leaders. We wouldn’t quit. We would kill ourselves to prove that we were enough, that we were worthy.

 My self esteem plummeted. I questioned my capability to lead. I wondered how my life had become so devoid of meaning.

 I want to bring more humanness to the workplace.
